Cap domes are designed as the first line of defense against wax. At the tip of each dome is a small shield that protects the sound inlet.

Newly designed to support the Marvel and Paradise hearing aids, the Sound Delivery System 4.0 (SDS 4.0) offers robust, reliable and comfortable acoustic coupling components for every day reliability.
These are only to be used on SDS 4.0 receiver wires for Phonak hearing aids. The correct size and type to use should be decided on by a trained audiologist and configured correctly in the fitting software. Domes should be changed at least every three months or when they become stiff or brittle. For longest wear wipe the dome daily with a dry tissue. We suggest checking the tip of the ear piece regularly and replacing the wax filter when necessary.
